Google is the worlds largest online advertising network. They also operate the browser with the largest marketshare. And they are now policing the industry they created, by blocking ‘abusive’ ads at their own discretion. The irony of this should not be lost.
That said, this is yet another prominent step towards a faster, safer internet - as well as another potential prominent hurdle for digital marketers.
